Premac has an advanced and state of the art tool room offering custom plastic injection component design and product development, the manufacture of tools and dies as well as high volume production of plastic injection moulded parts.

Premac has assisted in the design, development and production of various components from a wide range of sectors in the South African Industry, from medical, construction, electronic, agriculture, automotive and mining amongst others.

Premac is also the South African agent and reseller of NCG CAM, computer aided machining software.

CAD DESIGN

Equipped with the latest CAD technology, Premac's design staff offers a complete customised design service that will take your product from your plan or drawing and design the mould to produce the product you have specified from consultation through to delivery of the finished product.

We have extensive experience in all types of plastic polymers and will work in consultation with you to decide what is right for your product.

We can accept your design ideas in most of the commonly used computerised formats, as well as a rough sketch on the back of an envelope. We can also advise on the design of your product and produce prototypes for you.

The design and development programs we use include: SolidEdge, and NCG CAM.

At Premac we take great pride in the moulds we manufacture.

The workmanship of our toolmakers is of a very high quality. Our speciality is in the manufacture of complex precision injection moulds to exacting requirments using the latest CAD/CAM and spark eroding technology.

By having experienced in-house mould designers and toolmakers we can guarantee that the mould will be built the way you want.

We also repair and modify tools with minimum interruption of production runs.

NCG CAM (COMPUTER AIDED MACHINING) SOFTWARE

Premac is the South African agent and reseller for NCG CAM.

NCG CAM Solutions Ltd originates out of the UK and is designed to offer all the tools needed to manufacture prototypes, models, moulds, dies, patterns and finished products, with their specialist area being 3D HSM CAM with the product NCG CAM.

NCG CAM is a stand-alone HSM CAM system that integrates with existing CAD and CAM systems including Pro/ENGINEER, Creo, IRONCAD and SOLIDWORKS.

NCG CAM boasts many innovative features including automatic 3D roughing. This is suitable for all types of forms, creating an optimised and smooth cutter motion for HSM machining, while helping to extend tool life, minimising wear on the machine tool and producing parts with excellent surface finish.
